Approximately 200 employees serve LISD as part of the custodial staff team. They clean more than 6 million square feet of space each day and take pride in providing clean and safe places for all students to learn.

The district receives an annual demographic report that predicts population shifts within LISD boundaries. This helps in planning for new facility construction and the balancing of staff and district resources.

Leander ISD seeks to provide facilities to serve the students and youth by providing a quality educational environment. We welcome our community to use the district facilities for educational, recreational, civic and cultural activities when activities do not conflict with school use or with LISD Board policy.

A team of more than 100 employees work tirelessly to keep each LISD facilities in top shape. They maintain more than 7 million square feet of buildings, 140-plus acres of rooftop, roughly 1,800 acres of grass and 114 play areas.
