2025–26 School Year
To continuously improve our communication and keep you informed, we are installing a new process for you to receive, read, and acknowledge the Leander ISD Parent and Student Handbook and the Student Code of Conduct for the 2025–26 school year. Near the end of August, please be on the lookout for an email inviting you to read and acknowledge receipt of the documents. As always, you can request a hard copy at your student(s) campus at any time in addition to on this page.
The Texas Education Agency (TEA) is required to prepare and share a report with every school district outlining any laws related to school discipline that were added or changed by the 89th Legislature, Regular Session, 2025.
Each school district must then provide this report to all students and their parents or guardians.
To meet this requirement, TEA has created this document to help families understand the key rules for student discipline and highlight recent changes in the law.
