Response to Intervention (RTI) is the practice of providing high quality intervention instruction that is matched to a student’s need and assessing progress frequently to make sound instructional decisions. Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) is a framework used to provide universal, data driven, and tiered academic, behavioral, attendance, and social-emotional support to all students.
Students receive tiered, systemic supports based on various points of data taken from grades, assessments, classroom observation and grade-level expectations.
