Francesca Romans

Bio

Francesca Romans was elected to the Leander ISD Board of Trustees in November 2022. She and her husband, Lee, have lived in the district since 2005 and have two children currently enrolled. Her involvement in the district includes serving as a crossing guard, band mom, PTSA member, and Council of PTAs member. She has also participated on district committees, including the School Health Advisory Committee (SHAC), the Community Curriculum Advisory Committee (CCAC), and the Bond Oversight Committee.

Romans graduated from Concordia University Texas and worked for Texas public schools her entire career in the area of school law defense. She holds two advanced paralegal certifications from the National Association of Legal Assistants, and was previously certified in Civil Trial Law through the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.

Romans is a public education advocate who wants our schools to be safe and welcoming for everyone who works and learns in them. She wants to continue LISD’s legacy of providing a high-quality, well-rounded education to all students while making improvements that will see our district grow to be even better.
