Graphic Design and Interactive Media: Animation

The Graphic Design and Interactive Media: Animation Program of Study explores the occupations and educational opportunities associated with designing or creating graphics to meet specific commercial or promotional needs, such as packaging, displays, or logos. This program of study may also include exploration into designing clothing and accessories, and creating special effects, animation, or other visual images using film, video, computers, or other electronic tools and media, for use in computer games, movies, music videos, and commercials.

Design & Multimedia Arts: Fashion Design

The Graphic Design and Interactive Media: Fashion Design Program of Study allows students to experience all aspects of the fashion industry with an emphasis on textiles, apparel, design and construction. Students will develop professional standards and employability skills as required in the fashion industry. Fashion Design is a hands-on lab- based program where students produce fashion, textile, and apparel projects, learn industry equipment/technologies/softwares, create a portfolio, and gain business and industry career experiences.

Digital Communications: Audio/Video Production

The Digital Communications: Audio/Video Production Program of Study explores all aspects of the production process, including writing, filming and editing. Students will be exposed to a wide range of media genres such as podcasting, film-making, broadcast journalism and other on-line content creation. Work created by students will be shared and published on a variety of platforms, including both on and off campus. Students should be creative problem solvers, self-motivated, and task-oriented. Those in upper level classes will be expected to produce content outside of regular school hours.
