Leander ISD partners exclusively with the YMCA to provide after-school enrichment opportunities and its YMCA After Care program for students in Pre-K through 5th grade. Through this partnership, students can participate in a variety of engaging YMCA-led enrichment classes designed to inspire learning, creativity, and exploration beyond the school day.
In addition, Leander ISD educators offer teacher-led enrichment courses that provide unique opportunities for students to explore special interests, develop new skills, and connect with their school community in meaningful ways.
Together, these programs extend learning beyond the classroom while supporting the diverse interests and needs of our students.

YMCA After-School Care
The YMCA of Central Texas is proud to offer after-school childcare onsite at LISD’s elementary school campuses.
Y Afterschool is here to give your kids supervised fun as soon as the school bell rings until 6:30 p.m. This includes enrichments, crafts, snacks, STEM activities and more. Registration is available online or in-person. Please expect to pay a $50 registration fee to enroll your child in the program. Note: Scholarships are available.
