Additional Savings: Qualifying for meal benefits may also make your family eligible for discounted rates on STAAR tests, college application fees (SAT/ACT), activity fees, and more.
Students who qualify for reduced‑price meals will now receive free breakfast and lunch at school during the 2026–27 school year. Through a state grant authorized by the 89th legislative session, reduced‑price meals are now provided to families at no cost.
Completing a meal application not only ensures qualifying students receive free school meals but also may connect your family to valuable reduced‑cost programs and services. In addition, your application helps Leander ISD secure vital school meal and education funding.
