Long-Range Plan & Repurposing

During a special-called Board meeting on April 4, 2023, the Board and Superintendent created a pathway to redefining repurposing options with community feedback embedded in the process.

Instead of closing underutilized schools and repurposing them for a different use, portions of those schools can be repurposed to achieve the goal of maximizing use of our facilities. If, however, a particular school community decides the facility would be best used in another capacity, there is still the possibility of closing a school and repurposing the entire facility.
