Playground Shade Structures and/or Fabric Covers
Project Scope
Add shade structures to schools without it and replace fabric for schools with shade structures (as needed).
All elementary schools would be brought up to a new standard of having two shade structures, resulting in schools with no shade structures having two added and schools with one shade structure having one added. Schools with two shade structures already will have their fabric materials replaced as needed.

5 of the 15 shade structures have been completed so far: Bagdad ES, North ES, Tarvin ES, Larkspur ES, and Knowles ES. - February 2024
All pier holes/footings are in place and covered with mulch for protection. USA Shade has surveyed all locations and material has been ordered. - Once the Purchase Order is obtained, planning and scheduling can begin.
