Volunteering

Approved volunteers may serve in a variety of ways; stuffing envelopes, sorting lesson materials, laminating, chaperoning field trips, mentoring, participating as Watch D.O.G.S., PTA/PTO members, booster club and Literacy Partners.

Advisory Committees

Stakeholder input is important as we continue to build and refine the practices, policies and education of our students and community. District Committees are advisory in nature and are made up of staff, community members, parents, students and alumni.

Education Foundation

Leander ISD Educational Excellence Foundation (LEEF) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to enriching the educational experience by providing opportunities, cultivating success, and building community within Leander ISD.

Business Partnerships

Entrepreneurs and business experts can serve as volunteer coaches providing mentorship, real-world context and offer support to empower and inspire students in their entrepreneurial journeys.

Leadership LISD

Leadership LISD will take you “behind the scenes” of Leander ISD to meet program innovators and leaders of our service to see first-hand how the district creates a climate of success for our rapidly growing student population.

Clothes Closet

Clothes Closet is operated by the LISD Council of PTAs and community volunteers with the purpose of providing gently-used school clothing and brand-new underwear and socks to our students residing in Leander ISD.

PTA/PTSA

Parent Teacher Association (PTA) & Parent Teacher Student Association (PTSA) are grassroots organizations made up of parents, teachers, secondary students and others with a special interest in supporting the schools within Leander ISD.

Staff Perks

Staff Perks is a program where our local businesses have the opportunity to provide the Leander ISD employees with exclusive access to discounts, special offers, preferred seating, tickets to top events and much more!

Gold Members

Senior citizens of Leader ISD have the opportunity to receive a Gold Card with benefits of free admission to most fine arts and athletics events, as well as participate in our campus Gold Tours.
