Citizens’ Facility Advisory Committee (CFAC): Steering Committee Application

    The Citizens’ Facility Advisory Committee (CFAC) is a committee of parents, business and community members, teachers, principals, and other district staff who serve as an advisory committee to develop comprehensive facility recommendations that support the evolving needs of the school district. These recommendations to the Board will include: facility improvements, new construction, and renovations, as well as appropriate ancillary spaces (such as athletic, science, arts, and other support areas), technology infrastructure, and safety enhancements needed to achieve district priorities.

    Meeting information:
    Location:
    May meetings at Leander Extended Opportunity Center (LEO)
    June meetings at Leander ISD Information Technology Services

    Expectation: 6-8 meetings, with additional meetings as needed
    Plan to meet on Tuesdays/Wednesdays from 6 p.m.-7:30 p.m.

    Please submit your nominations by April 26 to allow adequate time to review nominee for eligibility requirements and give the nominee ample time to complete the application and anticipate meeting dates.
