The Citizens’ Facility Advisory Committee (CFAC) is a committee of parents, business and community members, teachers, principals, and other district staff who serve as an advisory committee to develop comprehensive facility recommendations that support the evolving needs of the school district. These recommendations to the Board will include: facility improvements, new construction, and renovations, as well as appropriate ancillary spaces (such as athletic, science, arts, and other support areas), technology infrastructure, and safety enhancements needed to achieve district priorities.

Location: In-person meetings at the Leander Extended Opportunity Center (LEO)
Expectation: 6-8 meetings, with additional meetings as needed
Plan to meet on Wednesdays from 6 p.m.-7:30 p.m.

Please note that submitting an application does not guarantee selection for service. It is important for use that the district as a whole is represented to the best of our ability. The deadline to submit an application for the 2026 CFAC Steering Committee is Sunday, March 15.
To serve on the Citizens’ Facility Advisory Committee, you must be a resident of Leander ISD.
