Leander ISD Chief Facilities and Operations Officer Jimmy Disler announced Myron T. Wilson will serve as the new Director of Transportation effective June 2019.

"I am excited to welcome Myron to Leander ISD," Disler said. "With more than 20 years experience in transportation, including a decade in the U.S. Air Force, he brings strong leadership skills and the necessary knowledge to continually improve the LISD Transportation Department. I am confident he will continue to maintain and support partnerships with parents, teachers and community members."

“It is with great enthusiasm and gratitude that I accept the position of director of transportation for Leander ISD,” Wilson said.  “I am eager to make a positive contribution to the district, the transportation dept. and the great LISD community. I'm looking forward to getting to know and working with everyone on the LISD team.”

Wilson earned his bachelor’s degree from DeVry Institute of Technology in Irving, Texas and his master’s degree from Regis University in Denver, CO. He grew up in Texas, graduating from Judson High School in Converse.
