11 Leander ISD Destination Imagination Teams Advance to State Competition

An incredible 11 Leander ISD Destination Imagination teams won the right to advance to the DI state tournament in Corpus Christi on March 22 and 23.

 

These outstanding students earned the right to compete with the state’s best after a stellar performance at the regional tournament last weekend at Glenn High School. Congratulations to the following schools:

 

  • Canyon Ridge Middle School (3)
  • Cedar Park Middle School 
  • Grandview Hills Elementary School
  • Laura Welch Bush Elementary School
  • Rutledge Elementary School
  • Steiner Ranch Elementary School
  • Stiles Middle School
  • Vandegrift High School
  • Whitestone Elementary School

 

Texas DI is a school-based program devoted to helping students gain practical life skills through interesting, entertaining and mind-boggling challenges. The program is created and guided by parents, educators and community volunteers who support the art and skill of creative problem solving.

 

Destination Imagination has affiliates in 48 states and in 50 nations. Texas is the largest of the 63 global Destination Imagination affiliates. Approximately 20,000 students in Texas participated in Destination Imagination this school year.
