The School Health Advisory Committee, made up of school personnel, community members and parents, recommends a coordinated health program for elementary and middle school students.
Leander ISD is committed to having a safe and healthy environment for students, families and staff. By addressing nutrition, physical activity, health education and substance abuse prevention in a variety of ways and to a variety of audiences, we hope to raise the awareness levels and the skills for all to live a healthy life.
SHAC meets approximately 3-4 times a year, from 5:30–7:30 p.m. Dates will be confirmed at a later time. The location is 1900 Cougar Country Dr., Cedar Park (across from Running Brushy Middle School).
