I am excited for another great year of learning. Leander ISD continues to be a destination district for many reasons, not the least of which is the incredible commitment to excellence our community fosters each and every year. We live and work among talented, caring people that know the value of public education and its promise to all students to help prepare them for college, career and life.

From LISD Convocation on August 10 to LISD Graduation in May/June 2019, our journey together will undoubtedly be full of memorable experiences and challenges. Thank you for your support, dedication and enthusiasm for our shared purpose: to engage, inspire and achieve for lifelong success. I look forward to working with you during what promises to be an exceptional year of learning.

Student Voice

Throughout this school year, we have shared topics and prompts for students to share their thoughts with the superintendent. For the final prompt of this school year, LISD is using ThoughtExchange, a two-way engagement platform focused on gathering ideas and open-ended comments from stakeholders. Users respond to a question and then rate responses from other users. This online survey tool is confidential and transparent.

Our final prompt this school year is:

Help Us Hear You

Leander ISD values the feedback and input of our students, and we’ve worked hard to solicit both over the course of this school year. How can we better capture your thoughts and ideas in the future?

Listening, learning from our students
