Pasak Named New Principal at River Place Elementary

A photo of Tina Pasak.Tina Pasak has been named the new principal of River Place Elementary School, Leander ISD Superintendent Dan Troxell, Ph.D. announced today, May 30.

“I am pleased to announce Tina Pasak as the new principal for River Place Elementary,” Troxell said. “Mrs. Pasak is a strong instructional leader who has demonstrated an ability to create a campus learning culture that sets high expectations and promotes learning for students and staff. She is a lifelong, effective, approachable communicator with an open-door policy. Mrs. Pasak has developed a superb track record of successful collaborations among staff, with parents and with the community.”

Pasak started her teaching career in 1998 as a high school English Language Arts teacher. She then joined Lago Vista ISD in 2009 as an English Language Arts teacher for two years before she became a counselor in Lago Vista in 2011. Pasak joined LISD in 2014 where she served as an assistant principal at Rouse High School for two years, and this past year she joined Glenn High School to open the campus as their Dean of Instruction.

She earned her bachelor’s degree from University of Houston in Victoria in 1997 and her master’s degree from Lamar University in 2012.
