Discontinued bus routes for 2018-19

Each year, LISD Transportation staff analyzes and reviews the recommendations regarding transportation services for areas to be deemed as “hazardous” within the 2-mile radius of the schools. These recommendations are based on Board Policy using a rating instrument developed by a community advisory committee to study hazardous conditions.

The Board approved the above-defined hazardous routes and the discontinuance of bus service for nine non-hazardous areas zoned to four LISD schools for the 2018-2019 school year.

Due to improvement of safe routes, transportation service will not be provided in 2018–19 for certain neighborhoods zoned to the following school:

Running Brushy Middle School
