Leander ISD Superintendent Dan Troxell, Ph.D., has announced Jody Hormann as LISD Athletic Director.

“On behalf of LISD, we are excited to welcome Jody into this new role,” Troxell said. “Jody is a proven and dynamic leader who brings strong leaderships skills with a diverse athletic background. She is committed to academics and to supporting all programs and students.”

Hormann joined LISD in 2008 as a volleyball and girls’ basketball coach at Leander High School, before joining the Vandegrift High School staff as the head girls’ basketball coach.

In 2012, Hormann joined the LISD athletic department staff in the role of Assistant Athletic Director. She left LISD in 2015 for a brief stint in Prosper ISD where she most recently served as the Athletic Director for the district. Hormann holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Houston-Victoria and a master’s degree from Lamar University.
