LISD Staff Members Named Outstanding Educators by DSACT

Parkside Elementary Principal Sharon Hejl and Cypress Elementary teachers Laura Pritchard and Laura Janszen were honored at the Thursday, Nov. 17 Leander ISD Board meeting for being named by the Down Syndrome Association of Central Texas (DSACT) as Lori Tullos Barta Outstanding Educators.

The DSACT is an organization committed to spreading awareness and educating its membership and the general public about all issues associated with Down syndrome. The award is designed to recognize excellent educators in Central Texas.
