Mary Ann Kluga, RN, MPS, LCDC, LISD Chemical Abuse Prevention Program (CAPP) coordinator, and Sarah Romer, LPC, LMFTA, CAPP counselor, are offering the new parenting curriculum Parenting the Love and Logic Way®. The six-week course is designed to help parents nurture responsible children by letting empathy and consequences do the teaching and by allowing their child to make their own choices. The Parenting the Love and Logic Way® course is good for anyone with children. Love and Logic® skills can help any situation: home, school or even work. The instructional approach includes discussions, video clips presented by the Love and Logic Institute, Inc. staff, workbook exercises and homework to practice the "new" skills presented at each class.
