Join us for the LISD Anti-Bullying Mini-conference on Thursday, May 10, at Deer Creek Elementary, 2420 Zeppelin Drive, from 6 – 9 p.m.

To help us better plan for our event, please fill out the RSVP form below and indicate how many adults and students (open to fourth-graders and above) in your party will be attending.

The conference will include a keynote address by Meagan Flowers with No Place for Hate, and breakout sessions focusing on what the facts are about bullying - update on current bullying legislation in Texas and what the LISD processes are; a session focusing on Bullying 101 and what parents need to know; and a session on Bright Spots within LISD and the programs our schools have in place. The closing session will bring all stakeholders back together to evaluate feedback captured during the sessions. Throughout the conference there will be feedback opportunities to help us better understand where we are as a community with bullying and where we want to be. This feedback will drive our next steps.
