Leander ISD is among the largest employers within the school district’s 200-square mile boundaries, with more than 4,000 teachers and staff meeting the education and support needs of more than 34,000 students. More than one quarter of LISD’s teachers have advanced degrees, as do many administrators and other professional staff.
