Cessation of Subsidizing Deposit Fees
In an effort to promote our online payment system, the Child Nutrition department had subsidized 100% of the fee associated with your online payments for the last several years. Now that the system is established and has proven effective, we feel that these funds (Avg. $160,000/year) would be better invested towards continuous improvement of our student programs.

The fee (4.99%) will be added to your deposit during checkout. For example: A $40.00 deposit will have a fee of $2.00, making your total charge $42.00. Effective January 1, 2014, fees associated with online deposits will no longer be subsidized by Child Nutrition. You may continue to pay into your student’s account with cash or check at no additional charge.

Should you have any questions regarding the cessation of subsidizing deposit fees or your child’s meal account, please feel free to contact the Child Nutrition Office at (512) 570-0670.
