Prekindergarten

Leander ISD offers free, half-day prekindergarten program to eligible children at six elementary school locations. The purpose of the LISD PreK program is to teach, grow and nurture each student in a positive and developmentally appropriate manner through a play-based curriculum, so that each student can be successful.

Free breakfast or lunch and transportation are provided for students in LISD's half-day PreK program.

Registration and Enrollment

PreK registration for the 2018-19 school year is open during school hours.

PreK enrollment is open every school day and may be done at any LISD elementary school, regardless of where a student is zoned or if the school does not have a PreK program.

If a student meets the eligibility requirements, families should complete the online enrollment form or bring the required documents to your nearest elementary school to complete registration.
